Our wine list features selections from the Cretan, Greek, and international vineyards, offering a rich variety of flavors and aromas that perfectly complement each of our dishes. From refined reds to refreshing whites and delightful rosés, each sip is a unique experience.

Sir Papafigos opened its doors on May 18, 2024, bringing a new culinary experience to Heraklion.

The menu and kitchen are curated and led by Chef Emi Marantou.
Born, raised, and trained in culinary arts in Athens, she brings years of experience from kitchens across Greece and abroad.

With inspiration drawn from memories of the past and complemented by modern touches, she meticulously designs every dish to create a dining experience that transcends the ordinary.

The restaurant is owned by Nektarios Xylouris, Michalis Dokimakis, and Manos Syntychakis. Nektarios Xylouris and Michalis Dokimakis are well-known in the hospitality industry, having successfully operated dining establishments for the past 25 years. 

Manos Syntychakis, with his extensive experience as a maître and sommelier, worked for 20 years in renowned restaurants in the city and now serves as the third pillar of this dynamic team.
